The Paddy Cole Medal Collection

Paddy Cole is remembered as one of Mullingar Shamrocks and Westmeathgaaofficial's greatest players. Thanks to a lovely gesture by Paddy’s wife Alva, Paddy’s achievements will be forever remembered in Mullingar Shamrocks. 

On Sunday last, Alva presented Chairperson David Nohilly with Paddy’s trophies and medal collection and other mementos of a remarkable football and hurling career.

The medals and trophies will form a permanent display in The Clubhouse and a suitable display cabinet is being prepared for their showing. 

Alva also made a significant contribution to our Mullingar Shamrocks Development Fund for which we are most grateful.
