St Brigid’s visit Springfield for Under-8 Go-Games

St. Brigid's Under-8 Squad from Roscommon were visitors to Springfield on Saturday morning for a mini-Go Games Blitz.

It was a most  enjoyable days of football  as it was great to have 8 teams of equal standards testing their football skills. Each game went down to the wire at Finian’s hooter. The skills we displayed were brilliant and a credit to all the boys and their coaches; we also learned a few things we have to improve, which is also important.

Thanks to everybody who helped out this morning especially the parents upstairs who brought and managed the refreshments. A special mention to Gareth Doyle and Pat Collins for organising the pizza which all the boys and parents enjoyed them.
