Claire and Killian dance the Cha Cha ...

Claire Finch is a veteran of the stage at this stage. Since joining the Mullingar Arts Centre four years ago Claire has featured in numerous productions including Les Misérables, CATS, The Phantom of the Opera, and Singing in the Rain. The young lady who was born in exotic  Redwood City, in the Bay Area of San Francisco and moved to Mullingar as a two-year-old is currently enjoying a gap-year working in Danny Byrne’s (Claire’s dance sponsor) secure in the knowledge that  her place in Maynooth University for the 2108-19 academic year is guaranteed, where the plan is to study Spanish, French and surprise, surprise Music. Claire’s dance partner, Killian Daly has made the football pitch his stage where he has been a regular member of the Mullingar Shamrocks senior football team since 2012 and of the Westmeath senior football team for the past four seasons. The DCU graduate’s dancing activities have been mainly confined to the floor of Mojo’s nightclub but Killian has travelled to Texas and Arizona for some altitude and warm weather training and we may expect some Texas Swing influence when Killian and Claire step out on the stage of The Park Hotel on  12 May to perform the Cha Cha to the tune of Forget You …
