Mullingar Shamrocks executive and members extend deepest sympathy to the family and friends of the late Eileen Kirwan Ashe Road, Mullingar and formerly Derrygreenagh Park, Rochfortbridge. In particular, sympathy is extended to Eileen’s daughter Nadia, son Kalvin, grandchildren Kaley and Luka, her father Tom, sisters Margaret, Rosemary, Bernie and Lorraine, brother Gerard, Nadia and Kalvin's father Aidan, nephews, nieces, cousins, members of her extended family and friends.
Eileen reposes at John Healy's Chapel of Rest, Rochfortbridge (N91 R291) on Wednesday 28th January from 5.30 pm until 7.30pm. Removal from the Chapel of Rest on Thursday at 11.40am via Derrygreenagh Park to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Rochfortbridge to arrive for Funeral Mass at 12.00 noon. Cremation will take place afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan (H12 RF78) at 4pm.
Kalvin Kirwan was a member of the Mullingar Shamrocks team on the last occasion the club won the Junior football championship in 2013 and his dad Aidan also represented Mullingar Shamrocks. Kalvin’s grandfather Brendan was an Honorary President of the club and was a soulmate of Tommy Lennon and Tommy Gilhooley during the great days of the Street Leagues.
