The rain didn’t deter our G4M&O ladies who travelled to Killucan on Tuesday night to play a match against their G4M&O team.
It was a very evenly contested game with great teamwork and skillful passages of play on display from both sides. The ladies have been training hard under Niall’s guidance and this was clear from the fine scores by many of the ladies.
The ladies fundraising for their exciting trip to New York is going good. The members of the Rockland Club are looking forward to welcoming the Westmeath representatives. Their quiz is next Thursday night (5 June) in Clarkes , and the ladies would be delighted to see as many members as possible make it.
The ever generous and supportive Andrina Finch has kindly offered her services for a ‘paint and sip ‘ night next month also.
